Mississippi isn’t known for its smooth roads, but potholes matter far less when you’re running. You can easily maneuver the adversity on foot.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if all of life’s struggles could be resolved so effortlessly?
Thanksgiving is the season of forgiveness. I think that’s why it’s a hard time for many of us.
Culture cries out, “Give thanks for what you have.” But, then, our humanity takes over. We reflect on what we don’t have…and why.
Maybe you’ve been holding back forgiveness. Maybe you’ve been longing to receive it.
My prayer is that the imperfections that have defined your road will be less this holiday – that your feet will know where to strike the ground with ease.
And that the incredible gift of forgiveness will fill every hole that remains.
Happy Thanksgiving.
